At cheeklaw we have achieved consistency throughout our herd by limiting the amount of artificial insemination. HF Air-Walk 33F was the first bull to be used extensively on the Cheeklaw herd and left beautiful females that were correct on their feet, had great milk and were easy calvers. To compliment Air-Walk we then purchased Tweedside Jewgal-Eric privately. He wasn’t the biggest bull in the world but he did produce very consistent fleshy and well muscled progeny. Again a private deal saw Easton Greys Joseph Eric enter the herd…it has brought about size and bone and his females are shining examples of the Aberdeen Angus breed. October 2008 saw the purchase of Bunlahy Bilty G202 – Overall Champion of Perth Bull Sales. Bilty has growth, bone and conformation and one of the best temperaments we have ever seen in a bull.
